Referrals come in two types:

Manual referrals: Know friends back home who are interested in buying property here in Thailand? Or did you just meet a guy at the airport or at a bar who's looking to buy? Send us his contact information using your Referral Control Panel and we'll contact him to begin his property search.

Linked referrals: This is the standard "Tell 'em Big Bob sent ya" referral, in which the buyer himself identfies you as his referrer when he begins the buying process. You got him in the door, you're entitled to a piece of the action.

The linked-referral is the model of most web-based referral/affiliate programs (Amazon.com, etc). The buyer clicks on a banner/link that you have posted to a web-site or forum. This banner/link contains your Referrer ID. When the buyer arrives at our site with your Referrer ID, we tag him with a cookie that identifies him as your prospect. Once that buyer identifies himself to us and begins the buying process, he is automatically registered as your referral. Any subsequent purchase that he makes earns you a share of our commission.

Buying property is a bigger decision than buying electronics or even buying a car. Understandably, buyers take a longer time before committing to a purchase. Further, many buyers come from abroad and need to schedule an dedicated trip here to view properties, all of which can take many months.

Please do not contact us with questions about the status of the sales process with your referrals We will keep you informed with information about your referrals via your Referrer Control Panel. You may rest assured that we are providing them with the best service possible in order to help them find the right property.

Before we credit you with a successful referral, we need to wait until he identifies himself to us and we have verified that he is a new contact. So, when a visitor clicks on you banner and arrives at our site, we set a cookie in his browser that tags him as coming from you. If/when he identifies himself to us via our online forms, we can check to see if he is a new customer, at which time your Referrer Control Panel will show the successful referral.

You cannot act as a referrer for yourself as a buyer.

You may deploy banners with your Referer ID as widely as you like. The field on the registration/profile form has no limiting effect on where you may deploy or on which referrals are credited to you. It is simply used internally to give us a rough idea of which referrers plan to deploy banners and where they plan to deploy them. If a referral comes in with your Referrer ID from a URL that is not on your list, you still get credited with the referral.

If you want to link to a specific page within our web site, just append the local URL of the page to your original referral link. For example, if you wanted to link to a page whose URL is

http://www.siamrealestate.com/path/to/script.php?k1=v1&k2=v2

you can use the referral URL

http://www.siamrealestate.com/ref/1234/path/to/script.php?k1=v1&k2=v2

where 1234 stands for your unique Referrer ID. We will detect your Referrer ID and take the visitor to the intended destination.
